The Value Based Programme

Each morning, a brief Assembly provides our pupils with a thought-provoking message to take into their daily routines. A character trait (e.g. patience, gratitude, honesty etc.), that we want to see the pupils develop, is also included in the morning session.

In addition, Pastor Chantal McCarthy engages in a lesson per class each week, all aimed at developing appropriate values in our pupils and thus equipping them to honour their responsibilities in all facets of their lives.

Character building forms part of the learning experience and is woven into each lesson so that pupils understand that they should responsibly live what is taught.

Guidance and counselling are also available to every pupil, as and when needed, thereby providing a ‘safe place’ for them to go to, if they are experiencing difficulties personally or at home.
