Aftercare

An Aftercare/Homework service is provided for parent’s convenience.

The following packages are offered:

From 13:30 to 17:00               Gr 1-2              Package 1

From 13:30 to 17:15               Gr 1-2              Package 2

From 14:00 to 17:00               Gr 3-7              Package 1

From 14:00 to 17:15               Gr 3-7              Package 2

The pupils are expected to wear their Aftercare/Homework Centre uniform each day.

A variety of fun filled and structured activities ensure that the children enjoy their afternoons at the Aftercare, while a full overview of the Aftercare Department is highlighted in the Sycamore Academy Value System.

Homework

Grades 1 and 2 – Do their written homework with their respective class teacher from 13H30 to 14H00.

Grade 3 to 7 – After school – The pupils do their written homework under supervision from 14H00 to 15H00.

The following Aftercare fee rates are applicable for 2022;

Grades 1 to 7

Package 1 = R500-00 per month                     Package 2 = R550-00 per month
