While prescribed subjects form the basis of the DOE (Department of Education) CAPS (Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement) school day syllabus, certain additional skill related disciplines have been added to the normal school day timetable, so as to ensure a holistic educational experience. This is applicable to both the Junior Primary (Gr 1-3) and Senior Primary (Gr 4-7) Departments and include Chess, Speech and Drama, Computer and Information Technology, Coding, Robotics, Visual Art and Media studies.
